Geodesic Half-Maxwell Fish-Eye-Lens Antenna

چکیده

We propose and implement a geodesic half-Maxwell fish-eye (MFE)-lens antenna. The lens was optimized using an in-house physical optics (PO) code adapted for generalized lenses. final antenna design validated with commercial electromagnetic simulation software. combines modulated half-MFE transition to linear flare, which is needed preserve the polarization in aperture. prototype, designed operate $\text{K}_{\mathrm {a}}$ -band, manufactured computer numerical control (CNC) milling measured anechoic chamber. provides continuous beam scanning because of mechanically actuated feed. Promising properties are demonstrated angular range ±45° scan loss below 3 dB, as well good frequency stability from 26 32 GHz. Since fully metallic, its radiation efficiency high (approximately 90%).

Accuracy of fish-eye lens models.

The majority of computer vision applications assumes that the camera adheres to the pinhole camera model. However, most optical systems will introduce undesirable effects. By far, the most evident of these effects is radial lensing, which is particularly noticeable in fish-eye camera systems, where the effect is relatively extreme. Several authors have developed models of fish-eye lenses that c...

Maxwell Fields & Shear-Free Null Geodesic Congruences

We study and report on the class of vacuum Maxwell fields in Minkowski space that possess a non-degenerate, diverging, principle null vector field (null eigenvector field of the Maxwell tensor) that is tangent to a shear-free null geodesics congruence. These congruences can be either surface forming (the tangent vectors being proportional to gradients) or not, i.e., the twisting congruences. In...

Recognition of landmarks distorted by fish-eye lens

The paper deals with recognition of artificial landmarks using fish-eye lens. The proposed recognition model is based on algebraic affine moment invariants (AMIs). Landmarks are used for the navigation of an autonomous robot, equipped with a fisheye lens camera. The recognition ability of the AMIs regarding the deformation introduced by the fish-eye lens image acquisition is investigated. The r...
